Competence based program based on IFSAC curriculum and NFPA 1002 aerial apparatus program. Course attendees will gain understanding and knowledge related to vehicle staging, aerial outriggers and stabilization and truck positioning. As well as raising deploying and lowering aerial devices to structures and at emergency scenes, basic maintenance and aerial truck emergency procedures. This course is intended to provide firefighters and depart with an aerial fire apparatus a basic competence in the aforementioned area.
